i have learnt
that today is what i have
to live and to learn from.
yesterday is long gone
leaving memories
not always sweet.
and tomorrow
is too uncertain
and often packs surprises.
i have learnt
that love is not just a feeling
but is a state of being
in love.
and that willingly
i yearn forever
and smile through pain
and yet not want it to end!
